Cloud Computing seminar hosted by ePolk

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Ryan Roberts, Hosting Manager of ePolk, Inc., facilitated a Lunch & Learn seminar for clients of the internet technology firm on Tuesday, May 22. The subject of the session was Doing Business in the Cloud. In the presentation, Roberts discussed in straightforward terms how using the latest Cloud technology can keep business moving outside the boundaries of a traditional workplace.

“I love talking about the Cloud!” Roberts confessed early in his presentation. “I never get tired of it – I guess I’m a thorough geek.” The guests were just as enthralled and stayed beyond the scheduled end to continue discussing it in detail.

Held in the Winter Haven Library Conference Room, the educational luncheon was attended by business owners, managers and technology professionals. Roberts gave examples of using the Cloud for efficient telephone service and also how using an exchange email system can streamline communication and scheduling within an organization.
