St. Joseph Winter Haven School upgrades Web site

WINTER HAVEN, FL – St. Joseph Catholic School has unveiled a new ePolk Web site. The site was completely re-designed with a modern look and functions. Photographs of current St. Joseph students, taken by Winter Haven photographer Mike Potthast, are used throughout. Parents can access student information through the site’s EduConnect link, and also make tuition payments through a secure portal, accessible from the home page. An integrated Content Management System (CMS) allows school staff to update the content as needed, without technical help. The school’s domain name is Stjosephwhschool.org.

St. Joseph Winter Haven School Principal Deborah Schwope said, “The content management system is so easy to use. Updating the weekly calendar is a breeze.” Schwope continued, “I love how visually engaging it is. Several parents have already made positive comments about it, too.” Since St. Joseph Winter Haven School is a 501(c)(3) organization, ePolk donated a significant portion of the work on the project. “We strongly believe that local businesses need to give back to the community when they can,” said Mike Kingham, president of ePolk. ePolk has donated services to numerous non-profit organizations throughout Polk County.
